About

Why Sheena built this.

After more than twenty years in education, including roles as Head of PSHE leading curriculum review, preparing schools for inspection, and watching the same gaps appear year after year, Sheena founded Ahead of the Algorithm in 2026 to do one thing well: help secondary schools build PSHE that reaches young people, not just programmes that pass inspection.

Every review is conducted by Sheena directly. There are no associates. We work with a small number of schools at a time. That's a deliberate choice.
